The Policy shall be updated by Santa Margherita S.p.A., the User is advised to carefully read and keep this Policy, before proceeding to provide any information whatsoever about the User. This Policy is provided for the purposes prescribed by Art. 13 of the Data Protection Code.
Definitions
“Data Protection Code” Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30/06/2003, the Code governing personal data protection;
“Privacy Policy” contains information and warnings about Website management methods and about provision of personal information by the User, in accordance with the Data Protection Code, and about the provisions of the Garante Privacy and in general of the technical regulations of the sector.
“Website” is this internet website, domain www.santamargherita.com, created for the purposes of communication by iVision Made on behalf of Santa Margherita S.p.A. with registered office in Via Ita Marzotto, 8, Fossalta di Portogruaro, Venice.
“User” the web user who accesses and interacts with the website;

“Personal data” Any information whatsoever relating to a physical person, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, via reference to any other information, including therewith a personal identification number;
“Browsing data" refers to the data which IT systems and software procedures governing website function shall receive, during their normal operation and which might allow the Website User to be identified, via processing and association with data held by third parties. Belonging to this data category are for example: - IP address or processor dominion name; -the URI Uniform Resource Identifier address (ftp://…; http://...., mailto:..., Etc); .- the time and method used in sending the request to the server; -the size of the file obtained in response; - the numerical code indicating the state of response given by the server (successful, error, etc.)
“Cookie” Small sized strings of text that sites visited by the User send to the User’s terminal where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites upon the User’s next visit. Data provided voluntarily by the user
Sending of mail, electronic mail to the abovementioned addresses, filling in the Contact Us page or Website Welcome page are completely optional, explicit and voluntary and result in subsequent acquisition of data, provided by the User, including therewith any information included in the message by the User.
You are advised that such data are processed with the sole purpose of responding precisely and efficiently to any User requests, in compliance with the provisions set out in the Data Protection Code pertaining also to any request, complete with explicit User consent, to receive newsletters and advertising and/or informative materials in general.
The data may be communicated to Gruppo Santa Margherita companies and, possibly, to subjects outside of the company such as lawyers, accountants, labour consultants, credit institutions, category associations, etc used by our company.
Data shall in no case be disclosed.
Website browsing notice
The Website uses technical cookies. In particular:
- Temporary session cookies, deriving from the Joomla and Wordpress platforms, which allow normal browsing and use of the Website but which are not recorded permanently on the User's hard disk and vanish when the browser is closed.
- cookies relating to Google Analytics, the Website uses the Google Analytics service provided by the Google, Inc company. (hereafter “Google”) for generation of web portal use statistics. Data processing method

the right to wholly or partly oppose:
a. for legitimate reasons processing of the User’s personal data , even if this pertains to the purpose of collection,
b. processing of the User’s personal data for the purpose of sending advertising or direct marketing or for completion of market research or commercial communication.
